An Anglo Indian Vizagapatam Cribbage box made Sandal wood carcass veneered with Ebony and Ivory. Circa 1860. The top of the box is profusely decorated with engraved ivory and mico mosaic detail. The top opens to reveal three compartments to take playing cards and a small central compartment to store the marking pegs. The sides and edges are finish in Ivory with Ebony stringing. Originally made for the European market this Mid 19th Century Cribbage box is a lovely gift idea for the Cribbage player in your life.
